Wooden heart decorated using mixed media, i.e. a combination of different techniques.
The techniques selected are:
1) Decoupage with a pattern from a paper napkin.
2) Shading with acrylic paints to blend the motif into the background.
3) Colored paste applied with a stencil for a 3D effect.
The materials used are wood, metal elements, lace, cord, pearls, acrylic paints, glues, pastes, and water-based varnish to protect the work.
